A CLASSIC DAYSAILER DESIGNED BY DYKSTRA NAVAL ARCHITECTS, BUILD FOR THE YACHTSMAN OF TODAY AND ENGINEERED TO PERFORM.

Features

Underdeck furler

We fit the Harken MKIV underdeck jib furler. This keeps the tack and the foot low, which improves the performance. This can also be achieved by fitting a regular furler in a recess, but we feel our more expensive solution is better.

Optional: Electric propulsion

Imagine no noise, no vibrations, no fumes and low maintenance. Our Oceanvolt SD6 edrive offers you maximum sailing pleasure. With the 14.4 KWH lithium package the range is 50 nautical miles.

Easy handling

Get extra speed out of the boat with the 65 sq.m. gennaker.

System design

Also our electric system stands out. First class components is one thing. First class electricians is two. But both bring you nowhere without a well-thought electric scheme.

Tiller steering

Your first boat had a tiller. What about the next one?

With the tiller, you feel every movement. A slight adjustment is all it takes to anticipate her actions, and she responds instantly.

Fly past

Be the fastest on the water. Understand why we call this the Flyer.

ABOUT THE YACHT >>

The Flyer 33 does not go unnoticed. Her head-turning Dykstra design ensures that. She is a sleek daysailer with a modern plumb bow, classic stern and a graceful, low freeboard combined with a generous sail plan. All this defines a new modern classic.

Below deck, the interior of the Flyer 33 is timeless with the choice for teak of bamboo panelling, all finished to the highest standard.

ABOUT US >>

The development of the Flyer 33 began in 2009 in the mind of a former world sailing champion, Rutger Mohr. Through his more than 40 years of experience and passion for sailing, he knew exactly which requirements the ideal sailing yacht had to fulfil. It had to be a combination of sheer beauty, superb sailing performance and yet plenty of comfort for a relaxing weekend on the water with family and friends. As this combination proved impossible to find, the idea for the Flyer33 was born.

The exterior and interior design of the Flyer33 is done by Dykstra Naval Architects and the yacht is build by Menken Maritiem.
